Experience

I am a Basic Skills Teacher (Academic Intervention) in the Hamilton Township School District. I work with students in Kindergarten to 5th Grade, teaching both literacy and math. My job is to teach students to read and perform on grade level, and love learning! I am looking for Tutoring Opportunities during my Summer Break! I can teach any subject grades K - 5, and Reading and Writing for Grades 6 - 12. I am also available to tutor for the SAT Critical Reading and Writing sections and adult English language learners. When I am not teaching, I love to read fiction and keep up-to-date with educational trends using Edutopia and Pinterest, try out new cooking recipes for my family, bake sweets and treats for coworkers, family, and friends, go on long hikes in Morris and Mercer County, play piano (I took lessons for 14 years), and spend time with family and friends. I was also an avid creative writer in high school and college, and am available to support young creative writers!
