Education

I'm an incoming Experimental Particle Physics graduate student at Princeton University. I recently graduated with highest distinction from the University of Virginia, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Engineering Science.

Experience

I love to teach - in fact, I hope to be a professor one day, teaching and researching as a full-time profession. My background is in physics, computer science, and mathematics. These fields are foundational to particle physics, the subject of much of my research. Additionally, I have prepared for and taken the AP Subject Tests, ACT, SAT , SAT Subject Tests, GRE, and Physics GRE. Lastly, I have played guitar (both acoustic and electric) for ~11 years. As far as experience goes, I helped teach a number of courses during my undergraduate years at the University of Virginia. For example, I organized and taught 1-credit seminars on Introductory Guitar Performance, STEM Outreach, and Timekeeping Devices. In addition, I've served as a teaching assistant for courses called The Physical Universe and Introduction to Scientific Computing.

Hobbies

As a student of physics, I spent a *lot* of time studying in coffee shops. Outside of physics, though, I love to play guitar - both recreationally and with bands. I write a lot of music, and have made a hobby of recording/mixing it. I also like to read and write, though I don't find myself writing as much these days. When time permits, I also enjoy running and working out.
